Beyond Unbroken Unleashes Destruction + MERCH!!

November 15, 2024
Artist News, Press
Beyond Unbroken, Destruction

Beyond Unbroken have announced their sophomore album Destruction is out now from FiXT.

Beyond Unbroken’s latest effort is poised to be their most diverse and ambitious work yet, featuring a dynamic mix of rock, metal, alternative, and pop punk influences and features a contribution from enigmatic rap vocalist Whitney Peyton. The album’s lead-up has been marked by a string of powerful singles, each showcasing the band’s ability to traverse and innovate across multiple genres.  Destruction takes inspiration from everything from the TV show YOU, horror movies, life experiences, old-school digital Gameboy lead sounds inspired by video games like Pokémon and Donkey Kong, incorporating real finger snaps, a nod to Michael Jackson’s iconic use of the technique in “Oceans” to Hans Zimmer’s work on Interstellar for “Lost and Broken.”

As Destruction looms on the horizon, Beyond Unbroken continues to explore the human experience through their unique blend of genres. “Oceans” is a unique departure from their typical heavy sound, fusing elements of pop with alternative rock. “The Madness” a brutal hard rock deep dive into the dark recesses of our own mind and the demons we find there. “Lost and Broken” melds the intense energy of metalcore with the raw power of hard rock, infusing cyberpunk with doom metal elements. Switching gears and returning to their pop-punk roots, Beyond Unbroken’s “My Life” is a track brimming with hope and renewal. “Halo” features the rap vocal talents of Whitney Peyton, covering the narrative of a toxic love-hate relationship and featuring rap and trap elements alongside a soulful pop chorus.

As Beyond Unbroken continues to explore the human experience and push the boundaries of metal and rock, Destruction is shaping up to be an album that showcases their extreme versatility in production whether it be a chilled-out single or over top brutality. From brutal metal and rock to alternative and pop, this album promises to be a thrilling ride for fans and newcomers alike. This is Beyond Unbroken at their most intense and versatile yet.

Releasing with the album is the title track “Destruction.” The single is a somber illustration of the bands’ thoughts on artificial intelligence.  Best described in the band’s own words: “For ‘Destruction,’ my brother Monte Money showed me a vocal melody that sparked a flood of ideas,” explains Michael Money. “Inspired, I worked on it late into the night, incorporating synthesizers and creating a piano intro. The song evolved into a commentary on Artificial Intelligence, exploring the fears and potential consequences of A.I. advancements. The post-chorus features a whispered “Destruction,” adding to the eerie vibe. The lyrics in the breakdown serve as a warning about humanity’s future. This powerful theme led us to name both the song and the album “Destruction.”

Releasing with the pre-order announcement is their powerful new single “Halo” (feat. Whitney Peyton), a track that fuses alternative rock with rap and trap influences, creating an emotional journey through the highs and lows of toxic love. Featuring guest rapper Whitney Peyton, “Halo” is a deeply personal song that explores betrayal, heartbreak, and the complex emotions surrounding relationships. “With “Halo,” Beyond Unbroken incorporated rap and trap elements while maintaining a strong, soulful pop chorus to enhance the song’s vibe and story. Featuring guest rapper Whitney Peyton, who brought great energy and immediately understood the vision, her lyrical flow further enriched the narrative. Monte Money, my brother, did a tremendous job on the first verse rap flow, laying down a path that perfectly matched the song’s energy and bringing depth to the lyrics. I’m really proud of him and had a lot of fun working on this track together. “Halo” is a fantastic addition to the album, exploring the complexities of a toxic love-hate relationship, from the highs of being with the love of your life to the lows of betrayal and backstabbing, and the painful emotions that follow. I couldn’t be happier with how it turned out,” Michael Money explains.

FiXT is proud to announce the exclusive signing of Beyond Unbroken, the Rock / Metalcore project from original co-founding members of Escape The Fate – Monte and Michael Money.  The signing kicks off with a release of the Deluxe Edition of Running Out Of Time and will continue with new music over a multi-album deal over the next several years. Beyond Unbroken may be familiar to  FiXT fans having made an appearance on the FiXT Radium: Nova compilation with their innovative single “With Or Without Me” in 2021.

“The Running Out Of Time Deluxe Edition album also features a remix of “Running Out Of Time” courtesy of labelmate The Anix, along with some additional bonus tracks and a re-mastered version of the title track with updated production.

“I want to extend our heartfelt gratitude to our dedicated fans who’ve eagerly awaited for what’s next from Beyond Unbroken. I’m happy to say that the wait is finally over! It brings me great joy to announce that the band has officially signed with FiXT,

We’re thrilled to present the Running Out of Time (Deluxe Edition). This special edition features a new remaster from the title track, accompanied by brand-new instrumentals for your enjoyment.

A big thank you goes out to the incredible team at FiXT. We are genuinely excited about the future ahead for Beyond Unbroken.

Stay tuned this is just the beginning!”
 – Michael Money, Beyond Unbroken

“This is a group that we’ve been wanting to work with for a long time! When they sent us their newest material we were blown away at the quality. I later came to find out that their new stuff is all self-produced, which is even more impressive. This band has a great variety of genres/styles from track to track. They also have a strong ability to create heavy music, with super memorable hooks. Beyond Unbroken has the potential to be amongst the likes of Bad Omens, Spiritbox, and all your favorite modern metalcore that you know and love!” – Dave Hansen, FiXT A&R Manager

“FiXT is extremely proud to be working with Beyond Unbroken. This brings a new sound to the FiXT roster as we expand our depth in Rock, Punk, and Metal. The story behind this project and the strife from which it was born as a metamorphosis for Michael and Monte coming from Escape The Fate in a major label deal with Interscope to starting fresh as an independent project is one to behold. They have faced staggering obstacles and emerged as Beyond Unbroken. We can’t wait to see how far they will go in the coming years. “ – James Rhodes, FiXT Vice President & Co-Founder

“I first heard Beyond Unbroken in 2020 and we were able to release one of their tracks on the Radium: Nova compilation in 2021. Their music is full of memorable hooks, modern production and great songwriting. With that said you can understand why I’m excited to announce they have officially joined the FiXT family.” – Klayton, FiXT President & Co-Founder

Out today with the Deluxe Edition is a new remaster of the title track “Running Out Of Time.”

In a world of boundaries Beyond Unbroken refuses to be defined by one genre. Founded by former Escape The Fate members, brothers Monte and Michael Money, the band habitually crosses the lines, mixing genres the way an artist mixes paint with results that often defy expectation.

They released their first single “Under Your Skin” in 2015 and debuted their first independent EP Don’t Wake The Dead in 2017 with producer Matt Good of From First To Last. The EP was well received with the animated video “Overdose” earning millions of views upon release. Their first debut album, Running Out of Time, followed in 2020 with singles earning millions of streams and premiering on Alt Press.

On April 29, 2020, the band covered Lil Peep and Twenty One Pilots mashup, “Falling Down + Heathens” and it remains the band’s most streamed track to this day. In 2021 the band released a one-off single “With Or Without Me” on the FiXT Radium Compilation which eventually led to the band signing with the label in 2023.

Running Out Of Time (Deluxe Edition) is now available from FiXT.
