Celldweller Returns With “Respawn”

July 29, 2026
Artist News, Artist Press
Celldweller, God Mode, level 2, Respawn

Celldweller Returns with “Respawn,” the second single from his sixth studio album GOD MODE, out now on all major DSPs from FiXT.

Level two begins now. Following the explosive debut of “Fakebreaker” feat. SWARM and REEBZ, Celldweller drops “Respawn,” the second single from his highly anticipated sixth studio album GOD MODE, available today across all major streaming platforms from FiXT.

Built for those who keep showing up even after the system says no, “Respawn” detonates into a relentless collision of guitars, vocals, and Klayton’s signature industrial precision through a metal lens. The lyrics say everything: “I’ve died a thousand times, but I’m still here. Access has been denied, but I’m still here.” Equal parts metal powerhouse and modern rock, this is resilience without sentimentality, from an artist who has never needed permission to return to the playing field.

“Spending my formative years in the 1980’s, gaming systems like the ATARI 2600 (I had the Sears knockoff) and ColecoVision were important and iconic to me. Those memories sparked the concept for my new album GOD MODE, an album revolving around gaming and game culture across different eras, which makes the concept of my next single “Respawn” self-explanatory. I was inspired to throw elements of metal, industrial and punk-rock into a blender to see what would spawn. Lyrically it’s a reminder to myself that even when things seem dire, hopeless, or fatal, I will respawn.” – Klayton (Celldweller)

Rooted in the gaming-influenced world of GOD MODE, “Respawn” captures something every player knows by instinct: every setback is simply another opportunity to rise, rebuild, and return more determined than ever. The album is loading, and the stakes are higher this time.

Fans can stream “Respawn” now on all major DSPs. For the full GOD MODE experience, including bonus tracks and early access to upcoming singles from the album, the GOD MODE Season Pass is available exclusively on EVEN.

Daedric’s RE:FORMED EP Three Songs, Three Transformations

Following the release of their acclaimed sophomore album As The Light Left, Daedric returns with the RE:FORMED, a three-track acoustic EP, with an accompanying behind-the-scenes documentary, out now  via FiXT.

Featuring stripped-down reinterpretations of fan favorites “Iridescent Wings,” “Sand Tiger,” and “Dreamweaver,” RE:FORMED reveals a more intimate side of the band while preserving the emotional weight and intensity that define Daedric’s sound. The accompanying documentary features a look behind the scenes, details the creation of the songs, and the thought process behind RE:FORMED.

“The approach to the RE:FORMED EP was more than just rehashing songs from As The Light Left as acoustic versions of the same thing,” says Daedric. “It was about creating something new out of our emotions and experience of the album. These acoustic songs have become more like a rebirth in such a cathartic sense, and the reworking and restructuring of each track allowed us to explore that concept in our own time.”

More than a collection of acoustic recordings, RE:FORMED serves as a creative reimagining of material from As The Light Left. Through careful restructuring and reinterpretation, Daedric uncovers new emotional dimensions within the songs, trading sonic aggression for vulnerability while preserving the spirit that made the originals resonate with listeners. The result is a release that stands on its own, offering a fresh perspective on the band’s evolving artistry.

The Retrofuture Is Back

Scandroid returns with his latest offering “Lost In The Stars” out now from FiXT.

“Lost In The Stars” fuses synthpop with an alternative electronic edge, channeling a purely 80s-inspired atmosphere. Driven by pulsing electronic beats, layered synthesizers, and steady rhythms, with heavy guitar riffs the track builds an evocative soundscape that feels both nostalgic and futuristic. Be ready to be pulled back into Scandroid’s cosmic, emotionally charged orbit.

“I’ve officially begun working on the new Scandroid album Lost Horizon.  A short book has already been written to expand the Scandroid universe based around this album. The first single, “Lost in the Stars” will make a lot more sense once you’ve read it, so while you wait for the book to drop, grab your favorite person, a few pairs of earbuds, jump in your spaceship and get lost in the stars.”– Klayton, Scandroid

Celldweller’s “Elaleth” (feat. Matt Heafy) Gets A Darker Remix Courtesy of Daedric

Celldweller, Daedric, legacy of kain, the dead shall rise

Daedric adds her own dark chapter to Celldweller’s “Elaleth” (feat. Matt Heafy), out now from FiXT.

The original track “Elaleth” from Celldweller and Trivium’s Matthew Kiichi Heafy, which premiered at Revolver Mag, was only the beginning. Daedric’s remix of “Elaleth” amplifies the track’s cinematic weight, reshaping its atmosphere into something darker. Originally introduced as part of the Legacy of Kain: Soul Reaver – The Dead Shall Rise soundtrack and spotlighted with a soaring, emotionally charged guitar solo from Matthew Kiichi Heafy of Trivium, the remix features heavier instrumentation in a denser, more haunting electronic framework. Vocals from both Daedric and Celldweller interplay creating a dichotic, ethereal versus visceral framework that heightens the track’s intensity and emotional depth.

The Legacy of Kain: Soul Reaver – The Dead Shall Rise soundtrack release arrived through Celldweller’s owned/operated record label FiXT in partnership with his new company Bit Bot Media. Bit Bot serves as the official licensing and partnership arm for this project, which has been developed in direct collaboration with Crystal Dynamics, as the companion soundtrack to the Legacy of Kain: Soul Reaver – The Dead Shall Rise graphic novel.

“Elaleth” (feat. Matthew Kiichi Heafy) [Daedric Remix] a bonus to the Legacy of Kain: Soul Reaver – The Dead Shall Rise soundtrack is now available now on all platforms.

Celldweller, legacy of kain, soul reaver, the dead shall rise

Legacy of Kain: Ascendance (Official Game Score) is a 16-track original soundtrack composed by Celldweller, expanding the dark mythos of Nosgoth through a powerful, atmospheric score built for both gameplay immersion and deep listening.

Blending cinematic orchestration, dark electronic textures, and industrial rhythms, the score traces the rise and ruin of kingdoms, the echo of shattered timelines, and the eternal conflict between fate, free will, and blood. Each track serves as a sonic fragment of Nosgoth’s history, moving from brooding, haunted ambiences to pulse-driven combat themes that mirror the game’s side-scroll movement, fluid traversal, and immersive adventure.

Ascendance isn’t granted. It is earned, with blood.

Catch Daedric’s latest release “Iridescent Wings” (Acoustic).

“Iridescent Wings” (Acoustic) the first single off the new Reborn EP, which will feature select songs from the recent LP As the Light Left. Initially described as “Daedric doesn’t really do “emo”, but if we did, this would be our emo song,” their latest release “Iridescent Wings” rises anew reborn from the ashes in a bare, confessional form, shedding it’s ferocity to reveal a more vulnerable side of the band. The track highlights Daedric’s remarkable sonic range, with Krystin Hope’s haunting vocals intertwining with gentle acoustic guitar chords, while producer Geoff Rockwell lends subtle backing vocals. The result is an intimate, stripped-down piece that trades intensity in favor of simple raw emotional clarity.

“When the possibility of doing acoustic versions came up, this one was a natural fit and was the first idea we had. That doesn’t mean it was easy. Getting the energy and emotion right took some real effort, but we ended up with something we think is a great addition to the Daedric canon.” – Daedric

Enter the dark, fractured world of Nosgoth through an expansive and cinematic soundtrack from Celldweller, created for Legacy of Kain: The Dead Shall Rise. Blending crushing guitars, haunting atmospheres, and immersive sound design, this release brings the blood-soaked legacy of Kain and Raziel to life like never before.

The soundtrack features the all-new original track “Elaleth”, which premiered yesterday at Revolver Mag, highlighted by a soaring and emotionally charged guitar solo performance from Matthew Kiichi Heafy of Trivium.

Celldweller also unleashes a bold, modern reimagining of Raziel’s iconic theme with his cover of “Ozar Midrashim”, alongside remastered score selections that honor the franchise’s legacy, including a newly remastered version of Information Society’s “Ozar Midrashim.”

Beyond the core songs, The Dead Shall Rise soundtrack immerses listeners deeper into Nosgoth with exclusive “story-mode” tracks, featuring cinematic musical beds, intricate sound design, and original in-game voice-over dialogue. These atmospheric pieces blur the line between album and experience, placing fans directly inside the world’s crumbling pillars, haunted ruins, and shifting timelines.
