April 17, 2020
Artist News, Artist Press
Parasite, The Anix

The Anix draws listeners into an immersive world of gritty electronics on his latest single, “Parasite” featuring GXG. Machine-like percussion strikes out through the atmospheric composition while understated vocals drift in and out for a haunting and deceptively aggressive piece.

The song is out now from independent future rock label FiXT and is the latest from The Anix on the path toward his upcoming album, Graphite.

Nutronic Unleashes Their Heaviest Track To Date “Empathy”

April 15, 2020
Artist News, Artist Press
Empathy, Nutronic

NUTRONIC unleashes their heaviest track to date on the no-nonsense new single, “Empathy.” The song’s high-energy approach keeps the tension up while the lyrics lay down a rejection of self-indulgence, effectively balancing aggressive songwriting with an endearing human spirit. The result is one of the most surprising and exciting tracks from the duo to date as their string of new singles continues.

“Empathy is the heaviest Nutronic song we’ve ever made. After meandering through a few different song ideas, we wanted to push our envelope even more into rock and metal coming from an electronic music background. Lyrically, Empathy is a punch in the throat of self indulgence but counters that with a message of common good and hope. We listened to bands like Killswitch Engage, Underoath, and Comeback Kid growing up. With Empathy, we wanted to deliver the same sense of urgency that those bands did effortlessly.”

Crater-forming rhythms on Soul Extract’s latest single, “Exploit”

April 10, 2020
Artist News, Artist Press
Exploit, Soul Extract

Crater-forming rhythms carry a rich blend of alternative rock and heavy electronics on Soul Extract’s latest single, “Exploit.” The track’s hefty sound design and methodical pace pound out a creation packed with cybernetic effects and EDM production while the artist’s clean vocal approach glides out over the top for a striking balance of textures and songwriting styles.

“Exploit” can be seen as a counterpart to “Specter” as both were written at the same time and center around not surviving the consequences of our actions.  So far, these two have been my favorite to write from the upcoming album.

-Soul Extract

“Exploit” is the latest single toward Soul Extract’s next full-length album, and it follows recent tracks “Dissolve” and “Specter” on the artist’s release schedule. The new song is out now on all major platforms from independent electronic rock label FiXT.

Cassetter and King Protea take you “Back To 2080”

April 3, 2020
Artist News, Artist Press
Back to 2080, Cassetter

Settle in and take a ride to the retro-future. “Back to 2080” brings a slow groove to Cassetter’s discography, patiently weaving melodies in and out of the piece in conjunction with King Protea’s dream-like vocal delivery for a song that will transport listeners to another time and place.

The new track follows “Catch Me If You Can” and “Blue Cabriolet” on Cassetter’s release schedule as he builds toward his second full-length album, Skyspeakers. “Back to 2080” is available now on all major platforms through independent synthwave label FiXT Neon.

“Back to 2080″ was a deep dive into Cassetter’s mind, but as we were writing it was fascinating to note the parallels between a cyber rebellion and our modern world. The unrest that Cassetter feels is not unlike the unrest that any given social climate, political climate, etc. could give someone. His chorus gave great imagery for me to launch off of for the verses, and we wound up with a track filled simultaneously with mystery and hope.”

Electronic rock and anime soundtracks collide in Becko’s new release “Cyberfriend”

March 31, 2020
Artist News, Artist Press
Becko, Cyberfriend

Electronic rock and anime soundtracks collide in a blend of gritty guitar riffs, glitchy electronics, and impassioned vocals in Becko’s unique brand of trap-metal. Delivered with the artist’s bleeding-edge songwriting style, “Cyberfriend” offers a cynical take on social media and the difficulty of finding authenticity in an online world.

“Cyberfriend” is a manifesto of this new world generation of kids that are adoring useless internet fake idols that do nothing and become famous.

Bored is what they are everyday and creativity is the last thing in their mind.

– Becko

“Cyberfriend” is the first new single from Becko following the release of the artist’s Genesis EP. The song is available now on all major platforms from independent future rock label FiXT.
