“This Is A New Era For The Browning”
– Jonny McBee

FiXT is thrilled to announce the signing of Synth Metal / Deathcore three piece outfit The Browning. The signing marks a huge milestone for both the band and FiXT.

“This is a new era for The Browning,” explains Jonny McBee. “This will be heavier and more intense than ever.” Intent on keeping this promise The Browning already has a string of releases planned for release with FiXT, the earliest hitting the airwaves in late September. Led by frontman Jonny McBee, The Browning has undergone a transformation, embracing a “New Era” that promises to be bigger, better, and heavier than ever before and introduces the band’s line-up now comprising of three familiar names: Jonny McBee, Hardcore Keem, and Cody Stewart.

Jonny McBee, vocalist and songerwriter for The Browning, is a trailblazing presence in the metal scene, is also known for his role as the host and operator of the widely acclaimed “Burn This World Podcast,” which is set to make its triumphant return in the near future. Another plot twist to look forward to, Jonny McBee is set to embark on a parallel journey, launching a groundbreaking new side project: DEATH X DESTINY with FiXT in the near future.

Hardcore Keem, the band’s guitarist, brings his unique vision and sound to The Browning. Originally just a fan of the band, he officially joined The Browning on tour in 2022, now becoming a staple for the band’s future and marketing. Besides being in the band he’s also a heavy music influencer and promoter with over 300K in social reach, including 100K followers on Instagram alone and running his own podcast The Hardcore Keem Show.

Cody Stewart, drummer for The Browning is a seasoned musician with an impressive track record. As a mixing and mastering engineer, his clients include Nothing Nowhere, Pete Wentz (Fall Out Boy), Epic Games (Fortnite), Lorna Shore, and many others. His expertise in mixing and mastering heavy music is a key point of the band’s intensity moving into this new era.

“The Browning is FiXT’s largest signing to date, and we are super excited to have them! They are a staple in the “electronic-core” genre that came about in the 2010’s era, and it’s an honor to have them on the roster. They are a huge inspiration for many electronic metal bands that have come about in the last ten years. It’s been great working with them so far, and I’m so excited to see how their sound evolves in their time with FiXT.”– Dave Hansen, FiXT A&R

The Browning has consistently pushed the boundaries of music, fusing genres and redefining heavy sounds. The band’s new line-up sets the stage for an electrifying chapter in their journey.

“Jonny and The Browning have been on my radar for long time. I loved his 2019 remix of my Celldweller track “A Matter of Time”. Fast forward 4 years and here we are… excited to announce he’s officially joining the FiXT family.” – Klayton, FiXT President & Co-Founder

The Browning is an electronic metal band founded by Jonny McBee as a solo project in 2005. In 2010 The Browning transitioned into a full band and has toured the world and put out five albums. The Browning‘s current lineup is Jonny McBee, Cody Stewart, and Hardcore Keem.

FiXT is proud to announce the signing of Alternative, Metalcore, Metal, Rock trio Coping Method and debuting their first original single with FiXT “Hypomania.”

Brutal from the start “Hypomania” wastes no time setting the stage. Hard core industrial guitar riffs clash with turbulent rhythms for a fierce onslaught that doesn’t stop. Add in distorted synthesizers and a brutal vocal performance and Coping Method sets their foundation with an epic firestorm. Strap in, the ride starts now. “I want it. I need it.”

Also re-releasing with the debut single are two previous singles from the band, “Trauma” and “Vice Grip” each following the idea of bringing awareness for mental health issues, social issues, and other causes they band believes in.

“I’m super excited to be working with Coping Method on their upcoming album. They have an extremely unique sound that I feel is really pushing the boundaries of modern metal/electronic music. This is what FiXT is all about! They aren’t just a metal band with a few synths laid subtly under their guitars. These guys are really infusing electronics into their songs in a way that not many bands are doing. Couple that with extremely aggressive vocals, and catchy melodies like they have – and you’ve got something insanely special. I also genuinely appreciate their passion and storytelling in regards to mental health!” – Dave Hansen, FiXT A&R

FiXT previously re-released SURVIVE: Unit 01 EP, the groups’ four track EP originally released in 2022 and featuring four Rock singles, each a piece of their self described Unit 01.

Amidst the distorted undertones of low-tuned guitars, mangled synths, bludgeoning percussion, and ambient soundscapes, Lead Instructors Tyler Simpson (vocals) communicates each exercise to our trainees with both sonorous and restrained timbres. Fellow instructors Jed Stark (Guitar) and Chad Wunderle (Drums) help provide the sonic foundation for each trainee to integrate themselves into.

MISSION: Being a responsible citizen in our community is paramount to us as an organization. Future campaigns include raising money for mental health awareness, social issues and other causes we believe in.

Starting with heavy and thrashing “The Creed” declaring ‘death is not the creed that will define you,’ and continuing through the equally aggressive “Goner,” taking a moment to breathe in the ethereal “Ghosts,” and finally culminating in the combative “Like A Slave,” Coping Method explores the human experience through a heavy metal lens. Each single goes on the offensive and the EP as a whole is a defiant push against the status quo, a refusal to accept that this is where it ends, that this is where you stop and give up. Even the softer “Ghosts” pushes listeners to ‘relinquish the fear inside.’  The SURVIVE: Unit 01 EP is only a taste of things to come and already shows off the trio’s tremendous scope and talent. Strap in, the ride starts now.

What is Coping Method?

Coping Method is an organization that communicates through the audio and visual medium to spread Mental Health awareness. Each Trainee that enrolls will complete numerous exercises that tackle various issues in life. Whether a trainee is dealing with unresolved grief or a harrowing depressive episode, our exercises are designed for both comfort and release.

Each Exercise is compiled into Units, which are then compiled into its respective Curriculum as a whole. Those wishing to enroll and become certified must complete each exercise. We have designated three instructors to visually and audibly present them

MEET YOUR INSTRUCTORS:

Amidst the distorted undertones of low-tuned guitars, mangled synthesizers, bludgeoning q1percussion, and ambient soundscapes, Lead Instructor Tyler Simpson (Vocals) communicates each Exercise to our trainees with both sonorous and restrained timbres. Fellow instructors Jed Stark (Guitar) and Chad Wunderle (Drums) help provide the sonic foundation for each Trainee to integrate themselves into.

MISSION: Being a responsible citizen in our community is paramount to us as an organization. Future campaigns include raising mon for mental health awareness, social issues and other causes we believe in.

“Hypomania” is available now on all platforms from FiXT.

FiXT Signs The Future Punk Pioneer
Resurrects Hope For The F.U.T.U.R.E.

FiXT is proud to announce the signing of future punk act The Plague. After working together in 2017 for The Plague’s remix of “Embracing Entropy” from FiXT-label-owner Klayton’s project Circle of Dust, a friendship was born and has led to a new multi-album deal together.

“Celldweller and FiXT have been an important influence on The Plague’s music and attitude,” states The Plague. “I am so excited to see where the collaboration takes us!”

Trailblazing and fierce, The Plague was created to spread a message of hope, and to rebel against growing self-destructive ideals. The Plague’s post-apocalyptic themes portray the struggles of being human, encouraging people to break free of the superficial and to know they are not alone.

“Those of you familiar with my project Circle of Dust may recognize The Plague from his remix of  “Embracing Entropy,” states Klayton (Celldweller, Circle Of Dust, Scandroid) “I couldn’t be more excited to announce his signing to FiXT. His songs are heavy, electronic, extremely infectious, and top-notch from the songwriting all the way down to the vocals, guitar riffs, and electronic sound design. If you don’t believe me, check out “Danger” and you can thank me later.”

With the announcement of the signing comes the re-release of the debut album Hope For The F.U.T.U.R.E. with brand new art, mixing, and mastering, plus some bonus tracks/remixes, throughout 2022, ahead of a new album coming in 2023. The Plague’s debut single with FiXT, “Danger”, is a turbulent vision of the world around us. Featuring driving guitar riffs, a powerful vocal performance, and thought-provoking lyrics, “Danger” is a warning call to wake up to the reality surrounding us.

“David has been on a short list of artists we’ve wanted to work with for several years and I’m glad the timing finally came together for us to make it happen,” states James Rhodes (FiXT, VP & Co-Founder). “We want to help bring his music to a much bigger audience and get him the recognition he deserves!”

“Danger” is out now from independent multi-genre music label FiXT.

The Plague – Danger (Remastered)

The Plague is the brainchild of producer/engineer David Adam Monroe, a pioneer of Future Punk. The Plague’s post-apocalyptic themes portray the struggles of being human, encouraging people to break free of the superficial and to know they are not alone.

David has been playing music from an early age, highly encouraged by his parents, he received an electric guitar at age ten and took off emulating his favorite bands at the time; Greenday, Smashing Pumpkins, and other 90’s rock bands. His career took off at age 16 when a promoter got his high school band on the Van’s Warped Tour.

As a producer/engineer, David has produced records with many artists including Glen Matlock from the Sex Pistols and multi-platinum engineer Earl Cohen. As a musician, he has toured internationally–including 4 years on Van’s Warped Tour– and has played with bands such as Tony Levin, My Chemical Romance, Story of the Year, NoFx, The Used, Yellow Card, Three Days Grace, and many more. The Plague’s debut album Hope For the F.U.T.U.R.E. was released independently in 2017.

In 2018 The Plague remixed Circle Of Dust’s “Embracing Entropy” (feat. Celldweller), through artist-owned record label FiXT. The Plague eventually signed to FiXT in 2022, and is re-releasing the debut album with remastered tracks, new art and bonus tracks throughout the year, ahead of a new album coming in 2023.

“My goal with The Plague was to make futuristic Christian rock, when I was producing bands in Boston, my assistant showed me Celldweller and said, “This guy is dope and reminds me of you!”  I chased Celldweller’s blend of synths and guitars, and that exploration process helped me discover my own sound.  When I finished the record I emailed James (FiXT Manager) with the spirit of a little brother and said, “Hey James, look! I self-produced a futuristic rock record that I’m releasing on my label!  You guys inspired this!”  By some wonderful miracle he was excited too!” – The Plague
