The colossal remix comes amid a flurry of new material, the artist’s latest project opened with the complex and chaotic “Fever Rift” and a two-track single release Monolith. The tracks serve as thematic opposites, with “Monolith” (featuring female vocalist Mari Kattman) guiding listeners into an intentionally glitchy, disorienting atmosphere and “Pyramids” exploring the inner journey of the artist with ethereal programming and eclipsing vocals.
Thematically the tones and sounds of this series are based around digital and analog abuse, esoteric rhythmic theory, and vocals and lyrics that are more based around more personal experiences than my previous records.
