FiXT Academy Announces Webinar With Content Virality Expert Dustin Boyer: “Branding For The Authentic Era”

FiXT Academy is thrilled to welcome Dustin Boyer on June 17th for for an exclusive webinar you won’t want to miss: “Branding For The Authentic Era.” Anyone can join the Live Webinar on Zoom for FREE by joining the FiXT Academy e-mail list through this sign-up form.

FiXT Academy is thrilled to announce Ryan Shuck (Orgy / Julien-K) will be hosting Part 2 of his live Dustin Boyer is the founder of Industry Plant, a creative agency built around a simple question: why do people really fall in love with an artist? He is a seasoned marketing professional and content virality expert with over 15 years of experience in the music industry.

After years leading strategy at Venture Music and driving breakout moments for artists like Zach Top, Dustin saw a gap in how the industry approached branding. “Most agencies chase visibility,” he says, “but they miss the deeper resonance—the emotional and cultural reasons people become fans in the first place.”

So he launched Industry Plant to change that. Based in Nashville, the agency is fiercely focused on building artist worlds: immersive, values-driven branding systems that align with what listeners actually find meaningful. Whether working with legacy acts or emerging voices in country, Americana, or alt genres, Dustin’s approach starts with the artist’s core values and builds content and strategy around that.

The name Industry Plant is a tongue-in-cheek reference to a myth: “If you work in music, you know there’s no such thing. No amount of marketing can replace a great song. But every artist deserves a team that helps them grow. We just own it.”

Dustin remains deeply hands-on with each project, embedding himself in artist teams, guiding creative direction, and helping artists understand what makes them resonate.
