Over the years one thing we get a lot of requests for, are ways for fans to get autographs from their favorite FiXT artists. With FiXT attracting a lot of non-touring artists/producers, there hasn’t been a great way for fans to get that personal connection of getting autographed merch…until now.
Today we are excited to announce a new line of official merch launching on the FiXT Store – our Autographed series – featuring high quality, autographed 8×10 photo/art prints, and later expanding to other signed merch items. These are limited in quantity but our goal is to give fans something touched and signed by the artists as special memorabilia and collectables. A lot of times the requests we get for signed items are specifically intended as gifts and special occasions. We hope the addition of the Autographed merch line available on the FiXT Store brings joy and delight to many fans!
We are proud to launch the line today with Autographed 8x10s from Celldweller and The Anix with items coming soon from Daedric, The Browning and more throughout the year.

– James Rhodes VP & Co-Founder
Promotes Key Staff to Expanded Roles for 2023
FiXT, the artist-owned, independent record label from Klayton (Celldweller, Scandroid), has named Heather Johnson as Director, Label Operations, and Kurtis Redden as Director, Marketing & Sales Operations. Both directors will report to FiXT’s Vice President and Co-Founder James Rhodes.
Prior to her Director role, Heather joined FiXT in mid-2022 as a Label Manager, bringing rights management and tech industry experience from previous stints at Apple, Songtradr, Mixer, and Ninety9Lives.
“It has been an honor working with the team at FiXT as the Label Manager for these past 6 months. I’m looking forward to my new role as Director of Label Operations; expanding my responsibilities and role will allow me to better support James, our artists, and the team. We’ve had an incredible 2022 and I am excited for what we have planned in 2023.”
– Heather Johnson (Director, Label Operations)
Prior to his new role, Kurtis joined FiXT as an Executive Assistant to VP James Rhodes in 2019, with a transition to Operations Manager in 2021.
“The past 3 years working with the incredibly talented team at FiXT has been a privilege and an amazing experience. I wouldn’t have been able to grow into my new role as Director of Marketing & Sales Operations without the leadership and support from James Rhodes and the trust Klayton has put into me. In my new role I’m looking forward to working closely with the Merchandise, Press & Marketing, and Social Media teams to share more of who we are and the amazing music our roster creates with the rest of the world.”
– Kurtis Redden (Director, Marketing & Sales Operations)
“After 17+ years of running day to day operations I am incredibly proud to have reached this milestone. We have the right team and culture in place to allow me to shift my focus almost entirely to bigger picture and future development of the company while Heather, Kurtis, and our rockstar team focus on the now. Klayton and I have a big vision for where to take the company and this is a key transition to set up the next 17+ years.”
– James Rhodes (FiXT Vice President & Co-Founder)
FiXT has also promoted several other key staff members with expanded roles and titles, including Chantal Holmes to Distribution Manager, Leasia Korbel to Label Publicist, Cory Todd to Senior Graphic Designer, and Alex Smolyaninov to Senior Content Coordinator.
“Heading into 2023 with the best roster and team we’ve ever had gets me more excited than ever about our ability to connect bigger picture ideas and new opportunities for the label and artists. For years James and I have strategized, dreaming big dreams and now we are positioned to execute them.”
– Klayton (FiXT President/Owner)
The Dunes (Official Motion Picture Score) marks the first feature-length film score from artist & composer Klayton. Best known for his high-octane electronic-rock project Celldweller, Klayton approached The Dunes with elaborate sound design and pristine production, to create a disturbingly ambient and frenetic audio companion to the psychological thriller. Using pulsing rhythms and cinematic tension, Klayton delivers a sense of unease with creeping beats and airy synths across the score, providing the perfect soundtrack for a descent into madness.
“My mind has always naturally understood the concept of audio/visual synchronization, so scoring to picture has been something I knew I would organically venture into. Having the opportunity to score my first feature film gave me the license I needed to explore new sonic and compositional territories. From an electric drill on a cello, custom built instruments, extreme metal blastbeats, and a copious amount of modular synths, my aim was to have the score become more diverse and erratic throughout the film, to follow the arc of the main character ‘Gerald’.”
