When MR83 and I work together I really feel like some of my best stuff gets written. I got the music for “Dreaming Again” while walking my dog one morning and by the time I got back to the house the song was literally 90% written. The music surrounding the lyrics just played in my head like a movie soundtrack. The words and melody just sorta flowed out and started filling the scenes by themselves. The whole idea of the song came from a really simple concept: 
We forget how meaningful and amazing the little things are when we “grow up”. 
We stop remembering that we are the directors in our lives. We do the casting and wardrobe. We write the script. The movie Chad and I made here is dedicated to the small pleasures, triumphs, loves, losses and people who make you, you. Like having your dreams haunted by “the one that got away”. Or how a short phone call can fix years of fallout and rekindle a friendship. A first date in a big city ending with a goodnight kiss under the stars. What it feels like when you let go and start living IN your life. It can overcome hidden obstacles before you even notice them. Over the past decade Moonrunner83 has been my favorite artists to write with. I’m always proud of everything we do.
