A technological storm is coming. The Anix’s 2019, full-length album with electronic-rock label FiXT leaves no holds barred as the artist dives into reminiscent yet uncharted waters with his latest venture, Hologram. Opening with overdriven bass, distorted beats, and sleek production, the leading track “Renegade” delivers an industrial-rock edge, guiding listeners into a static realm, waking from a dream of self-reflection and yearning to escape. The album continues with minimalistic beat-heavy tracks like “Enemy In The Mirror”, “Interference” and “Live Forever” as well as hybrid electro-rock-driven tracks like “Everlasting Love” and “Talking In My Sleep”. An unexpected cover of Deftones’ track “Digital Bath” guides the listener into darker territory, along with a version 2.0 of the track “Techunter” originally composed for Techunter Magazine and released as a single in early 2019. The album is wrapped in a cohesive atmosphere of neo-futurism, hyper-grunge massiveness, and unified through The Anix’s catchy, melancholy and haunting vocals.
Hologram marks another masterfully crafted album, completely conceived, written, produced, performed, mixed, and mastered by The Anix’s sole mastermind composer/artist Brandon Smith, who took things even further by personally creating all the album artwork, promo photography and merchandise, including several hand-crafted, limited edition pieces. For modern music fans looking for the next visionary statement of leading-edge artistry, tech fashion, electronic and rock music combining into a single form factor, look no further than The Anix.

NUTRONIC ignites a fire with their leading single “Code War”, melding elements of drum & bass and metal for a high-energy track marking the first from the pair as they officially join the FiXT label roster. The duo has landed at FiXT after several years of fusing hybrid electronic-rock through the respected EDM label Simplify Records, appealing to fans of artists like Pendulum, Muzzy, and Voicians. NUTRONIC’s music ultimately caught the ear of FiXT’s multi-genre label-owner, Celldweller, leading to the new formed alliance for a multi-album deal together.
Premiering with Metal Insider, “Code War” marks the first in a series of singles coming in 2019 and 2020, ahead of a full-length album with FiXT in 2020.
NUTRONIC began as a group of online friends back in 2011 collaborating and figuring out how to put vocals into dubstep and drum and bass mixes. Quickly, Jeremy Strickland took lead of the project as producer/songwriter with guitarist, Nick Dyson. NUTRONIC likes to call itself an Anglo-American cocktail, as Jeremy is a southern American from the gulf coast area and Nick Dyson is an Englishman from Derbyshire. NUTRONIC has been a virtual duo and potential romance novel ever since.
Stylistically varied, major influences for this project are bands like Pendulum, Muse, and A Perfect Circle, but between Jeremy and Nick, influences range from indie rock to progressive metal. NUTRONIC has been an experiment to glue all of these influences into dance music and electronica from the beginning. In 2013, NUTRONIC released a mini-LP entitled Seekers, their first serious endeavor into electronic rock and songwriting where nuance and introspection were embraced.
In 2015, a full LP was released entitled Heavens, a thematic album, which explored different sounds outside of typical expectations of drum and bass. After a hiatus, NUTRONIC returned with Subterra EP released over the course of singles starting in 2018 on Simplify Recordings. NUTRONIC’s music ultimately caught the ear of FiXT’s multi-genre label-owner, Celldweller, leading to the new formed alliance for a multi-album deal together. Fans of NUTRONIC can expect a series of singles coming in 2019 and 2020, ahead of a full-length album with FiXT in 2020.

Circle of Dust made its triumphant return in 2016 as Klayton regained control of the entire Circle of Dust catalog, re-releasing each album (Self-Titled, Brainchild, Metamorphosis, Disengage and beloved side-project Argyle Park) with remastered audio and completely re-imagined art. Later the same year, with the project fully resurrected, the new album Machines of Our Disgrace was released followed by a feature-length documentary, Full Circle: The Birth, Death & Rebirth of Circle of Dust, and full-length remix album alt_Machines in 2018.
Now, Klayton has once again dug into the archives and revived the next wave of Circle of Dust nostalgia. The Self-Titled Circle of Dust album will return once again in 2019, making its first-ever release on vinyl, and will be accompanied with a full round of digital rarities, as well as the release of a brand new remix of “Nothing Sacred” from industrial producer and long-time FiXT friend, Sebastian Komor, along with making the remix stems to the original track available for purchase as well.
The 1992 self-titled Circle of Dust album marked the beginning of Klayton’s legacy (Celldweller, Scandroid & Owner/Founder of FiXT) as he began his exploration into the unknown. The album gives listeners a glimpse of Klayton’s earliest experiments with sci-fi inspired industrial & electronic-rock. Never one to be held back by the limitations of the technology available to him, the entire album was created using a Mac Classic with 1mb of system RAM and a 40mb hard drive along with an Ensoniq EPS 16+ mono sampler.
The album has been meticulously remastered with modern sonic precision, improving upon the sound of the original tracks and breathing new life into them. Now, pressed in a haunting shade of royal blue, the album makes a second resurrection: this time in vinyl.
